My last fishing trip... (process)
Today I hadn't enough time, but I wanted to know a new fishing spot. Vicario lake, in Ciudad Real. I met with Maldohook, because I didn't know the way. The landscape was superb although we didn't get any fish. Madohook must be at home early, and I prefered to be fishing but I decided to change my fishing spot.Gasset lake was on my return home way. I spent no more than 70 minutes there, but I got 2 fishes with a pikie (colour perch). Finally I got two tiny pikes, but it is better than nothing...

FROZEN FISHING DAYS / DÍAS DE PESCA CONGELADOS

In spite of the frozen wind that we are suffering, last Friday I decided to go fishing. I've fattened my fishing spot twice before I went. I spent 2.5 - 3 hours fishing and I got a tiny stroke and finally this 3 kilo carp. I caught with pelletz casting to the bottom.
A pesar del congelado viento que estamos sufriendo, el pasado viernes decidí ir a pescar. Había cebado mi zona de pesca 2 veces antes de ir. Utilicé entre 2 horas y media y tres y obtuve un pequeño toque y  al final una carpa de 3 kilos. La cogí con pelletz lanzado al fondo.

With the surprising visit of a friend of mine, I had a perfect reason to visit once more my best spot fishing. Today was colder than Friday, but anyway we wanted to have a chance. And after a small fatten on the area, we started to cast our rods. It is almost impossible to fish in this 2 square meters but we achieved. The result of the day, 2 - 3 strokes and 2 carps. The first one caught by Anders weighted 3 kilos and the second one, caught by my own, 1,5 kilos. We were about 2 hours, but with extreme conditions. We had a superb time and maybe the next time we'll visit a distant spot fishing, pikes? barbs? who knows?

Con la sorpresa de la visita de un amigo mío, tenía la excusa perfecta para visitar una vez más mi mejor zona de pesca. Hoy hacía más frío que el viernes, pero de todos modos queríamos intentarlo. Después de un pequeño cebado en la zona, empezamos a lancar nuestras cañas. Es casi imposible pescar en estos 2 metros cuadrados, pero lo conseguimos. El resultado del día fué 2-3 toques y 2 carpas. La primera, pescada por Anders pesó 3 kilos y la segunda, por mí, 1,5 kilos. Estuvimos aproximadamente 2 horas, pero las condiciones fueron extremas (frío). Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso y quizás en la siguiente visitaremos un lugar de pesca más lejano. ¿lucios?, ¿barbos? ¿quién sabe?

WHEN I WAS YOUNG... // CUANDO ERA JOVEN...

Hi once more! How you doing? I run out of patient... I'm looking forward being in March or April... This winter season is harder than I though. I really feel like go fishing, now I have more time than before, but... the wheather and the season say that it doesn't worth it... I go on with my other new hobbie, fill this blog with some old photos from ancient years... This time I've chosen the spearfishing photos. I began when I was 18 - 19 years, but I really focused from year 2001. And it lasts no more than 3 years, and after a 2 years break, I had a extra spearfishing year more in Granada. It was cool. I remember as if I still was in Alicante or in Granada.

And step by step I began to catch some important fishes...

One of the luckiest day of my life in which I caught 2 seabass few meters from the Cliffs. (Golf Club).

This Grouper is not mine, it belongs to my fishing fellow Richard! It was about 7 kilos (14 pounds)

No coment, this one is my bigger fish at the moment. One day I will write more about that day. By the way, it was 17 kilos Palometón (about 35 pounds).

And after this fish, a long 2 years break, I came back fishing in the Andalusian waters (Motril, Calahonda and Torrenueva). 2006 was a year in which I didn't dive very deep, but I took advantage of many tips that I learnt in previous years.

 As the photo... my memories are in black and white about spearfishing. I still go fishing but obviouesly I've changed my fishing technic! Anyway, fishing is still one of my favourites hobbies. Enjoy your fishing trip!!

SUNNY FISHING DAY // DÍA DE PESCA SOLEADO

After a carpfishing day without a fish... I decided to repeat my last pike spot in Torre de Abraham lake. This time I tried in the opposite side where we were the last time, but I got no success. I tried drop-worms with a hidding hook, spinnerbaits, and some pikies, but nothing worked. 4 hours later, I finally decided to come back to the place where we caught a small pike two weeks ago. It last no more than thirty minutes and I got a fish, a pike, of course!!

 I used a spinnerbait and the place was almost the same than the other day. Probably it is a good place. This pike had a small spoon on the right side of its mouth and my spinnerbait on the opposite side. Carefully I removed it and I took some photos before I released the 2 kilos pike. I spent the whole morning and I got only a single fish, but at least this time, it fought in a strong way!!

Después de un día de pesca de carpas sin un pez... decidí repetir mi último lugar de lucios en la Torre de Abraham.  Esta vez lo intenté en el lado opuesto donde estuvimos la última vez, pero sin éxito. Utilicé lombrices plomadas con anzuelo escondido, spinners, algunos pikies, pero no funcionó nada. 4 horas más tarde, al final decidí volver de nuevo al lugar donde cogimos el pequeño lucio hace dos semanas. No tardé más de media hora y cogí un pez, un lucio, por supuesto!
Utilicé una spiner y el lugar fue casi el mismo que el del otro día. Probablemente es un buen lugar. Este lucio tenía una pequeña cucharilla en el lado derecho y mi spiner en el lado contrario. Con cuidado lo quité y tomé algunas fotos antes de liberar el lucio de 2 kilos. Utilicé toda la mañana y sólo conseguí un pez, pero al menos en esta ocasión, luchó con fuerza!!
